First-ever Head Coach

Skyhawks Football is pleased to announce that Warren Goldie has been named the first-ever  Head Coach of the Skyhawks Junior Football program.  We are thrilled to make this announcement and are honoured to have such a tremendous football coach and strategist leading our team.

In his nearly 3 decades of coaching experience, Goldie has experience coaching in most levels of football. He spent nearly a decade at Queen’s University coaching QBs and Receivers and 3 years as the Offensive Coordinator. In the 2000s, the Gaels went from a 2-win program to National Champions. More recently, he was at StFX University as the Offensive Coordinator for 2 seasons where they won the Conference Championship. Throughout these times, Goldie has coached numerous athletes that went onto professional careers. Part of the last 10 years has included more specific coaching of quarterbacks with his QBMAD program. Starting out as an on-field program focused on mechanics, he has expanded the program to online sessions for a more comprehensive process for readying QBs. The program has recently expanded outside of Canada with new members on both sides of the border and coaches and players in Europe.

In addition, Coach Goldie has over five years coaching experience in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) and  Ontario Provincial Football League (OPFL). A native of Kingston, Ont., Goldie was a varsity athlete with Western University, enjoying great success with two trips to the Vanier Cup, including a championship in 1994.

Please welcome Coach Goldie to Skyhawk Nation!
